Benzyl Alcohol 99% min

Water-white liquid; slight odor, ahrp, burning taste. Somewhat soluble in water; miscubke with alcohol. It is derived by hydrolysis of benzyl chloride or by catalytic reduction from benzaldehyde (Canizzaro reaction).

Description

Used as an intermediate for the syntheis of: Coatings & Auxilaries; Disinfectants and cleaning agents; glues, adhesives and staches; plastic and auxiliaries; fibres and auxiliaries; auxiliaries for the food industry; cosmetics; active substances for pharmaceuticals; agrochemical; dyestuffs, pigments and optical brightners, perfumes and aromas and photochemical products.
