Chlorinated Rubber

An elastomer(natural rubber or polyolefin) to which 65% of the chlorine has been added to give a solid, film-forming resin. White amorphous powder available in viscosity from 5 to 125 cP, the figures indicating viscosity of a 20% solution in toluene.Decomposes at 125C, soluble in aromatics, insoluble in aliphatics ans alcohols. Compatible with almost all natural and synthetic resins.
